3 Must-Have Makeup Products for a Flawless Summer Look

What’s your go-to makeup look this summer?

If you’re anything like me, then it’s probably the same one you wear all year round — the makeup that makes you feel most like yourself. Still, some additional products can take your summer makeup product to the next level and make you feel even more confident and beautiful than usual. Here are my three favorite beauty products to use on my face in the summer months!

Step 1 – Cleanse

Starting with the basics, you need to clean your face before applying any makeup. Cleaning your face removes dirt, excess oil and helps to balance your skin’s natural pH level.

To cleanse your face, use gentle circular motions on dry skin to remove dirt and oil. If you want to add an extra step, use warm water or cleanser on wet skin and work it into a lather before rinsing it off.

Easy eyeliner

Underlining the eyes with makeup can make them pop and add definition. This is one of the most important steps in any eye makeup routine because it defines your eyelid and makes your eye color stand out. Plus, it’s an easy way to instantly look more put together.
Easy eyeliner is perfect for beginners and experts alike because it offers a foolproof application that is quick to apply (no messy eyeliner brush or liquid mess) and won’t smudge like pencil liners do.

Step 3 – Foundation & Concealer

A good foundation and concealer can do wonders to even out your complexion. My favorite is the Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer because it’s full coverage and doesn’t dry my skin out. I like to use a lighter color as an underliner, which provides just enough coverage without being too heavy.

Step 4 – Setting Powder & Bronzer

For that flawlessly bronzed look, use an Easy Eyeliner in the most flattering tone and shade to line your eyes. This will also help to keep pesky eyeliner smudges away! To add some color back into your complexion, try a Pool Blue blush or Sunburnt Blush. Pair this with the perfect tinted lip gloss and you’re ready to go!

Step 5 – False Eyelashes, Mascara, and Eyeshadow

5. If you’re up for it, false eyelashes are an easy way to give your look more drama. You can also play with different mascaras and eye shadows to create an array of styles from natural to bold. For example, my favorite summer look is Pool Blue eyeshadow with Sunburnt Blush on the cheeks!

Step 6 – Blush & Lips

For the finishing touches, you’ll want to apply your favorite lip color and finish off your look with blush. The best way to find the perfect blusher shade is by swiping on a bit of color and then going in with your fingers to blend it up towards your hairline. Remember, you don’t want it to be too harsh! I always go for a soft pink hue because it’s light enough not to clash with my summer tan, but still adds an instant glamour to my makeup look.
